getting there from krabi airport by car
Our Residence is located two hours by car from Krabi airport (KBI), including a 10-minute ferry ride along the way. Upon request, we can arrange private, safe and reliable transportation booked by our Guest Experience team and billed as a room charge. Please contact us for further assistance with transportation.
getting there by boat
Getting to Koh Lanta by boat is a scenic and enjoyable experience, offering stunning views of the Andaman Sea. Here’s how you can make the journey:
From Krabi
- Passenger Ferry: Regular ferries operate from Krabi Town and Ao Nang to Saladan Pier on Koh Lanta. The journey takes about 2 hours, and you can enjoy the scenic ride across the sea.
- Speedboat: For a quicker option, speedboats from Krabi can get you to Koh Lanta in about 1 hour. This is a great choice for those looking to save time.
From Phuket
- Passenger Ferry: Ferries from Phuket to Koh Lanta typically stop at Phi Phi Island before continuing to Saladan Pier. The total journey takes about 3.5 hours.
- Speedboat: A direct speedboat from Phuket can take you to Koh Lanta in around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on sea conditions.
From Phi Phi Islands
- Passenger Ferry: Ferries connect the Phi Phi Islands to Koh Lanta with a travel time of about 1.5 hours.
- Speedboat: For a faster trip, speedboats can get you from Phi Phi to Koh Lanta in about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
From Trang
- Passenger Ferry: Ferries from Trang to Koh Lanta take about 2 hours and usually operate in the high season.
Once you arrive at Saladan Pier on Koh Lanta, it’s a short 30-minute drive to our resort. We can arrange transportation from the pier directly to the resort for your convenience. Please contact our Guest Experience team to assist with booking your transfer.
WEATHER
Peak Season (December - February)
During the high season from December to February, Koh Lanta enjoys its best weather. Expect warm temperatures ranging from 25°C to 32°C (77°F to 90°F) with plenty of sunshine and low humidity. This is the perfect time to visit for ideal beach conditions and clear skies.
High Season (October - November, March - April)
In the shoulder high season from October to November and March to April, the weather is generally pleasant with temperatures between 24°C and 33°C (75°F to 91°F). Expect occasional showers, especially in October, but still plenty of sunshine. It’s a great time to enjoy fewer crowds and warm, tropical weather.
Monsoon Season (May - September)
From May to September, Koh Lanta experiences its monsoon season. This period brings higher humidity and frequent rain showers, with temperatures ranging from 23°C to 32°C (73°F to 90°F). While the rain can be heavy, it usually comes in short bursts, leaving time for sunny breaks and lush green landscapes.
